SWAN commemorates this year's world water day in style by enlightening the public on the need to consume safe water for healthy living in a popular family radio programme – ‘Homefront' in Plateau Radio Television Station, Jos . This complemented the joint advert placed in three national newspapers by SWAN and GOSSY brands of uac.

The world water day comes up on every 22nd March of the year. The United Nations General Assembly adopted the resolution to devote the day as appropriate in the national context, to concretise activities such as the promotion of public awareness on the conservation and development of water resources and the implementation of the recommendations of agenda 21.

The Managing Director of Spring Waters Nigeria Limited, Mr Mukhtar Yakasai used this forum to enlighten the listeners on the benefit of the spring over the other chemically treated bottled water.
